BillPAID: Technology
Utilising its own proprietary transaction processing network, and the most current hardware and software available, BillPAID’s activation system receives simultaneous transactions from its customer host computer or payment terminals, translates the data, and completes the transactions by sending responses back to the computer or terminal.
BillPAID’s SCP (Service Control Point) is a central process which receives message streams from terminals, partners and websites, processes the incoming requests, connects with any necessary host or switch and then delivers the appropriate medium – e-PIN, activation response, top-up balance, and other proprietary solutions.
Proprietary software allows BillPAID’s networks to operate on a wide variety of touch points and PC/Web solutions.
The system is based on world leading technology and provides a set of .NET application programme interfaces (API’s) for host-to-host integration.
The network and server hardware is located at a platinum level data center, with global back up locations on three separate continents. The data center offers fully redundant power and internet connectivity and is a World Class “A” facility.
